Kouku Park in Tokorozawa - 航空公園 所沢

Went to one of the beautiful parks in Japan last week end.

The place was quite big where Japanese planes were seen. Surrounded with trees and flowers, nature was giving cool air to the visitors. Me and Eriko enjoyed walking around the park seeing people enjoying their own time. People who was practicing their flute, drum, dancing, cheering, singing, joging, eating, reading, sunbathing and etc... It is nice to know that in a big city like Japan, they keep a nice Park where people respect and enjoy nature.

週末に所沢の航空公園に行きました。

結構大きな公園で高い木に覆われてるこの公園は夏の熱気も忘れられます。

みんな公園が好きだなーって思う人があっちこっちにいました。

日本に住んでいる人には当たり前のような風景かも知れないがフィリピンで育った僕にとってはとても清々しい風景でした。大都市なのに自然に少しでも触れたい人たちの思いやりが伝わります。

After a good lunch we decided to do some light hiking to burn those calories that we just intake. There was this small trail that brought us to a view point where the entire Flic en Flac was seen.

Quite amazing view up there which was worth climbing.

すばらしいランチの後、カロリーを燃やすために軽くハイキングをすることにしました。

レストランの近くに小さなトレールがあり、上がっていくとフリッカン・フラックのパノラマが見えます。

ビューポイントに着くと上ったかいがあったなーと思った。。。

Casela Park (Lunch Break) - カセラパーク（お昼ご飯）

After getting tired from playing with the Lions and quad biking....we were starving so we decided to have something at the restaurant at Casela. Here are some of the photos.

ライオンと、四輪バイクで遊び終わった後かなり腹がすいてることに気が付き餌を探しにカセラパークで唯一のレストランにいきました。

Mauritian sparrow - ちょっとかわったモーリシャスのスズメ

うん、このスズメに何か変わっていることにきずきました。

なんと頭がはげておる！毛がないのではなさそうですが頭が固そうです。

一生懸命パンを食いちぎってる様子。

まさしくこれは俺の餌だ！って構えてるスズメ。

Another birdy

やっと撮れた！

モーリシャスに着てからこの鳥の写真が撮りたくていつもタイミングを見逃していた。

今朝の虫と違った興奮がありました。ただ画像の一部分を切り取りましたので解像度があまりよくありません。けどこの真っ赤な小鳥はとてもかわいかった！ちなみ島中どこにでも見かけます。

この鳥と同じぐらいの大きさで黄色の小鳥さんもいます。今度はそれにチャレンジしてみたいと思います。

After a long time I was able to capture this cute fellow. 

I've seen this red bird ever since I came to Mauritius and always wanted to take a shot of it, but I always miss the chance.

The excitement was quite different from the bug this morning. Forgive the resolution of the picture since it was cut off from a larger picture which I took. Whats amazing is that this fellow can be seen on the entire island.

In the same size, there is a yellow version of this bird too which will definitely be my next challenge.
