Walk at Todoroki Gulch to Tamagawa River- 散歩 - 等々力渓谷 〜多摩川

One of the thing we did during the holidays was to walk along the river at Todoroki where trees are surrounded. There were several shrines and temples also along the way.


Finally the river joins to Tamagawa river.








And the sunset was simply beautiful.

Casela Park (On the way Home) - カセラパーク（帰り）

After a full day of tour in Casela park, we were still able to catch the beautiful sunset of Flic en Flac.

一日中カセラパークのツアーが終わり、帰り道にフリッカンフラックの美しい夕日も見ることができました。

Fishing at Le Morne Beach Mauritius - レモンビーチで釣り モーリシャス

My office mate has invited me to join him on a small fishing trip this weekend. Since I am partially Japanese and I LOOOVEEEE fish and to not mention...I have not eaten a decent fish since I came to Mauritius... I was dying for one. So we went out from Le Morne Beach which is located at the Southern part of the island.

モーリシャスに着てからちゃんとした魚が食べていない私にとって会社の同僚から魚釣りに誘われた時心の中で「キターーーー」とつぶやいた。先週の日曜日にモーリシャスの西南部にあるレモンビーチから船でちょっと離れたところから魚釣りをした。思いのほか結構釣ることができたけれどかなり小さめのハタ。刺身にはできないが涙がでる程十分においしかったぁー！

刺身にはできないサイズだったので簡単で魚の味を楽しめるフィリピン料理にしてみました。

材料は塩、ナンプラー、水、玉ねぎ、トマトだけ

ホンマに泣けます。。。。

Sunset at Grand Baie Mauritius - グラン・べイ モーリシャスで夕日

After a long tour in the crodile park we headed to the Northern part of the island to catch the sunset. It took us only about an hour from South to North. How small the island can get?!

Again since it was a week end there were alot of people enjoying the beach.

ながいクロコダイル・パークツアーの後北の海グラン・べイで夕日を見にいきました。南から北へ約１時間チョイぐらいしかかかってなくどのぐらい小さい島なのかわかります。

週末だけあって海で遊んでる家族、友達揃い、カップルで埋まっていましたけれど、海が好きなモーリシャス人たちは自分と同じ何かがあるような気がしました。

Suliac Public Beach- スリアックパブリックビーチ

So after the Chamarel tour, we went down the mountain and rush to the beach to see the sunset and have a short dip.

We reach on the beach of the Southern most of Mauritius.

The beach was totally deserted and no one was swimming. We waited for the beautiful sunset.

チャマレルの山を下り、今度は海で夕日を見にいき島の最南端につきました。

人はほとんど見かけずほぼプライベートビーチかのような気分でした。

波は穏やかで浜辺から二・三歩するとさんご礁でした。しかもピンクのウツボまでいてびっくり！っていうかえりは絶叫（笑）

取り合えず夕日に間に合って素晴らしい第一日モーリシャスツアーができました。

食べてみました!

近場にあるカフェでココナッツのタルトとチョコシューみたいなの物を頼んでみた。

白い粉のようなのはココナッツです。また、生地にもココナッツがあり食べてみると口の中がココナッツの香りでポワーンっと広がる。甘さは半端なくあまかった。。けどコーヒーと中和すると結構いけた。

シュークリーム食べた時は…ミツワのシューがとてつもなく恋しかった。

で、今日の夕日はこんな感じでした。

Tour de Grand Baie + Happy Valentines!!!

Happy Valentines!!! Well that goes for me this time since Eriko is not around. It is going to be our first Valentines that we are not spending the time together. So instead of being trapped in the house I thought of stretching my legs and go to the Northern part of the island. My target town was Grand Baie. It is known to be one the most popular areas for tourist. 

Apparently the Chinese president is visiting Mauritius next week and I see alot of Chinese flags decorated in Town. As you can see from the picture above. The weather is perfect and it was deadly HOT!

Above are pictures from the Central Market at Port Louis. Believe it or not, this was the first time I see fresh fish. Most of the super markets here only sells frozen fishes that are mostly vacuum packed. I was really happy to see this since I was dying for fish!

I finally got my self to Grand Baie after an hour bus ride from Port Louis and the first thing that caught my attention was the emerald blue sea! 

This was taken out of fun. I guess the little ants are having a special dinner tonight!!

Perfect weather, Perfect sun, Perfect color, Perfect clouds.... Perfect Beach.

And after all the self tour and being so exhusted, as I reach home, a bouquet of flower was waiting for me. It was from Eriko who arraigned the deliver. I was really surprise to know that there was such system in Mauritius:b Thank you Eri!!! Miss you Lots!!!
