Fishing at Flic en Flac! -フリッカンフラックで釣り！

It was a lousy Sunday morning and me and my friend Justin decided to go fishing in the morning. Delayed for an hour from the planned time, we still managed to drag our self to the beach. I was not expecting for a catch from the experience I had last week. Not a single bite! But then Justin was still able to catch some tropical fishes that we decided to release. As we were about to loose fate on catching some edible fishes, we decided to approached a fisher man who was kind enough to bring us out with his fishing boat.

Than the fishes!!! My friend caught two Fishes about a meter long! Unfortunately I was not able to get any... but aside from the fishing what was miraculous was we encountered with two whales who were literally jumping on the air! We were like crazy kids screaming! Seeing something for the first time in our life! it was amazing and i was regretting so much that I didn't bring my Camera with me.
But I will not forget that moment...it was something like this...

According to the fisherman they come to Mauritius during mating season.

After catching the fish we went home and had the best fish, Curry Sashimi, and fried fish Kerala style!

かなりだるい日曜の朝。。。

釣りに行こうかと考える俺ら。。。

計画時間から一時間遅れたけど海に出ることにした。

先週のフリッカンフラックの釣りからの経験では何もつれなかったから今回もつれないと思うと友達のジャスティンが早くも二匹も釣る。。。不思議に思う俺。。。。

けど熱帯魚で食えそうにないので海に帰した。。。

一時間ぐらいが経ち何も引っかからなくなった。。。

希望がなくなりつつ。。。そろそろ帰ろうと思ったところで近場に船を用意しに来た釣り人に声おかけてみた。。。

そうすると海にでて魚を釣らしてくれた。しかも本格的なビッグフィッシング用の釣竿で！

干潮のせいか中々かかってこない。。。釣り人いわく３時間ぐらいで１０匹はつれるらしい。。。っと

その時！ジャスティンに魚がかかった！

キターーーーー！１メートル弱のサワラ!!!!

あまりの興奮でさわらが刺身にしか見えませんでした。

結局おいらは何も釣れなく、友達は２匹もつれた。。。。おいらはついてないのかね？。。

けどこの日のクライマックスはサワラでなく、途中で見えた二匹の鯨だった！

んん？船？いや？潮をふいてる！

鯨！！！っておいらが気が付いたとき！

「おぉぉ！！！」と船長が興奮しながら鯨の方に船を向き100メートルぐらいまで近寄った。。

でっ！でかい！！！軽く１０メートルはあった。。。

しかも４００メートルぐらい離れてから鯨は空中に飛んだ！かなりのサービス精神の高い鯨だった！ナショナルジオグラフィックを見てるかのようだった。。。

あんな巨体が海から飛び上がってくるなんて信じられない。。。

その瞬間はもろスローモーションになっていた。。。

水しぶきもものすごい迫力だった！爆弾が爆発したかのようだった。。。

しかしカメラを持っていかなかったこと後悔した。。。

きっと鯨は知っていたのだろう。。。けどあの瞬間は忘れられない。。

まさにこんな感じだった。。。

って３時間くらいの釣りを終えて沖に戻り最高に新鮮なサワラの刺身、カレー、インド式フライ(ケララ風),サワラの味噌汁をいただきました！
